Women in Sanitation – voices from African cities

On March 8 2022, the Tamil Nadu Urban Sanitation Support Program (TNUSSP) launched the third edition of the ‘Women in Sanitation’ campaign.

The campaign brings to the fore the stories of women professionals in the sanitation sector and generates much-needed conversations on the challenges and biases women face.

Short films documenting a diversity of workers and contexts in India can be accessed on TNUSSP’s website 👉🏽

They are amazing resources to stimulate discussions, reframe actions and support gender equality in the sanitation sector and beyond.
